FABRIC BIN / EASTER BASKET (free pattern + video)

Hi friends, I have a free pattern + video tutorial for you today!

These adorable fabric baskets finish at 8.5” wide on bottom x 5.5” tall x 5” deep and they make for the most wonderful storage bins, project bags, or Easter Baskets.

And you know what? They are also fat quarter friendly. You only need 2 FQs of fabric (one for the exterior and one for the lining), some interfacing, a 13” long strip of webbing, and an hour or so of your time and you’re good to go.

To make one Fabric Basket you will need:

2 - FQ (fat quarters) of quilting cotton for exterior and lining of the basket, cut 2 - 14'' x 9'' (35.5cm x 23cm) panels from each

2 - 14'' x 9'' (35.5cm x 23cm) Pellon Fusible Fleece

2 - 14'' x 9'' (35.5cm x 23cm) Pellon SF101 interfacing

1 - 13'' (33cm) long webbing for the handles (I get the webbing for my handles either from Zipper Zoo or Sullivan's Trim. Use coupon code SOTAK10 for a 10% discount at Zipper Zoo and SOTAK15 for a 15% discount at SullivansTrim)

Happy sewing, everyone!

Svetlana
